Welcome to Leonard Elementary School where we are all partners in lifelong learning and where Character Counts! Leonard Elementary School is a Governor's Golden Apple Award winning school located in Ovid, Michigan.
Our staff takes great pride in their work and is dedicated to making our school an enjoyable place to learn and grow. The recent release of the 2010-2011 3rd-6th grade MEAP scores indicates a positive trend in our students' achievement on the State assessment. Leonard Elementary School continues to exceed both State and local standards in many areas. Leonard Elementary School is also a proud member of the MiBLSi initiative and will be entering its' third year with the statewide program. Supplemental programs such as DIBELS, Credentialing, Accelerated Reader, and Accelerated Math help our staff to meet the individual needs of each and every student.
